Whisky Tasting Notes
Lagavulin 16 Year Nose: is strolling alone on a loose shingle beach with the cold grey water running through your toes. The sea lazily dragging ethereal seaweed as it laps up the shore, spraying over your Arran sweater in excitable bursts.
Lagavulin 16 Year Taste: is lighting the last coveted cigarette, looking across the lilac skies, absorbing the hot smoke and cool salty air; then, reaching for your flask of exotic Lapsang Souchong that you made too sweet.
Lagavulin 16 Year Finish: is the trails of tobacco unfurling through your chest while your mouth is left with a thick, oily residue, depositing dried dates and figs, and a hazy memory of some sherry you couldn’t pronounce in mainland Spain.
